TKBC Programs
Saturday Academy
The Kids' Breakfast Club otherwise known as TKBC has two Saturday Academy programs and each program provides kids and their parents with nutrition and education activities on Saturdays when school is not in session.  The Saturday Academy programs are implemented at two different elementary schools in Hayward, California and both kids and their parents (or an adult 18 years or older) must attend together.  A Saturday Academy program includes a free nutritious breakfast for kids and their parents, reading and math literacy activities, arts and crafts activities, recreational activities, and parent education.  Each program starts at 9:00AM and ends at 11:00AM.

Information for Volunteers

The Kids’ Breakfast Club (TKBC) would not exist if it were not for the volunteers who come out and help with breakfast and the activities.  The quality and the success of TKBC are based on the volunteers who come out each morning to help.  In an effort to make sure everyone is informed about the rules and his/her responsibilities we ask you to read and follow all of the nonnegotiable rules and responsibilities for volunteers.
